Ricky’s Ranch suffered a bad flood in June of 2023. It flooded the entire back pasture, and made a muck pit in front of the barn.
We desperately need clean fill, several dump truck loads, to raise the land up. There is a small creek at the back of the property, and it is already full due to daily rains and thunderstorms.
If we could have proper drains installed as well as clean fill brought in, the horses would not have to walk in wet muck and water.
It continues to storm daily. The ground is saturated. The water has nowhere to go, so it puddles up 3″ – 4″ daily. This is not good for the horses hooves to stay wet like this.
