As Ricky’s Ranch continues to grow, we will be adding an Equine Assisted Learning program.
We will prioritize hands-on learning experiences, using horses to enhance the acquisition of essential life skills for educational, professional, or personal improvement. Our Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) programs will encompass a variety of activities with horses that aid in developing critical life skills. Our services will include educational support, corporate training, and personal growth through EAL, all delivered by certified professionals with expertise in facilitating horse-assisted learning activities.
These professionals will be adept at creating and managing EAL sessions that foster a synergistic relationship between humans and horses. This partnership is cultivated in a structured learning environment aimed at achieving specific outcomes for participants. Through engaging with horses, individuals participating in EAL can improve vital skills like decision-making, problem-solving, innovative and analytical thinking, self-awareness, empathy, effective communication, interpersonal relations, and emotional and stress management.
Our soon to be certified EAL facilitators at Ricky’s Ranch will use a blend of mounted and unmounted interactions with horses, along with other equine-related activities, to enrich the learning experience. They will also be well-versed in equine behavior, the dynamics of human-horse relationships, and the crafting of effective, horse-involved learning programs.
