Ricky’s Ranch is a Florida not-for-profit corporation. We are rated Silver Transparency on Candid GuideStar. Candid GuideStar. We have been granted 501(c)(3) tax-exempt classification from the IRS. All donations and gifts to Ricky’s Ranch are tax deductible. Our name will show up in an IRS search IRS Nonprofit Search using our EIN 92-3162221 and we have our IRS letter of Designation. We will be happy to provide a copy of the letter to anyone wishing to see it. 
We are located in Okeechobee County, FL. Right in the heart of cattle country, where are a lot of wonderful horses and horse people are here, too.
Here at Ricky’s Ranch, we are passionate about providing a safe, loving home to senior horses who would otherwise be discarded, neglected, or worse. Our Sanctuary is dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of neglected, abused, and abandoned senior horses, and also for the wild Mustangs we adopt from the Bureau of Land management Wild Mustang Program. We offer these horses a chance to live out their lives in comfort, surrounded by people who care.
This regular feeding and care can be costly. Between specific feed and hay for seniors with different needs, regular farrier care, and of course, veterinary care, which seniors always need, these costs add up quickly.
With your support, we hope to continue our mission of providing a safe and loving home for senior horses in need. In addition to our ongoing efforts, we also have a larger goal in mind – purchasing a new property and barn. This will enable us to expand our sanctuary and provide a home for even more horses in need. We believe that every horse deserves a happy and healthy retirement, and with your help, we can make this dream a reality. Your donations will not only support our current rescue efforts but will also contribute to creating a brighter future for more senior horses in need. Since we are already taking care of 3 senior horses, our expenses are escalating beyond our budget. And our tiny ranchette needs some TLC.
